TELEGRIP(TM) provides a 3D graphical interface for previewing,interactive programming and real-time, bilateral control of remote robotand device controllers for use in hazardous environments, space andundersea operations. It provides operators a system for safe, quick andefficient remediation of hazardous environments from a single, dynamicpoint of control and input that is isolated from virtually all operatorhazards.Accurate 3D kinematic models of the robot and work space components allowthe operator to pre-plan and optimize robot trajectories before theprogram is automatically generated. If sensors are integrated, TELEGRIPcan verify all geometries and dynamically update the model toautomatically adjust robot motions in real-time. All control commands aremonitored when running in autonomous, tele-operation or shared controlmodes to assure compliance with safe and accepted operating procedures.
